The Harold Mason Award acknowledges significant contributions to the WRFLUA, and is considered to be the second highest association honour behind Life Membership.
The award is named in honour of WRFLUA legend and inaugural Hall of Fame member Harold Mason, a former field umpire who officiated in the 1960 Division 1 Grand Final.
Award criteria includes:
- Five years service with the association
- Contribution to and support of the umpiring group
- Offering services when required (e.g. tribunal advocacy)
- Attendance at functions
