Five WRFL umpires will be calling the VFL home for the 2015 season.
Following an arduous pre-season and trial period, Stefan Bjelosevic (field), Lewis Spiker, Shannessy Adams, Patrick Galea (boundary) and Julian Ensink (goal) have been rewarded with a spot in the VFL Umpires Development Squad.
The group will officiate VFL Development League, TAC Cup and VWFL matches throughout the year.
19 of our best and brightest have made the step up in the last five years, reinforcing the belief for young umpires that they too can make it to an elite level if they put in the hard yards.
The WRFLUA wish this year's crop all the best for their umpiring careers and know that they will represent us with distinction.
